The ambience is good, a lawn with benches, flowers,and of course lots of Sun and clean air to breathe. But that's where it ends. It seems a one man show, the manager was indifferent, obviously they get their clients. The promise of free breakfast never materialized, you have to place an order for food and you are charged accordingly. Even a cup of tea is charged.We paid a tidy sum for two rooms, though others were paying less. We got towels only when we asked for them . No soap was given.We were very disappointed as this place was recommended by another person who is in the same business. The approach road is narrow,and when it rains, it is very slushy. People prefer this place because it is close to the centre of Ooty.Others might have a different experience, but we were put off by the casual and careless attitude of manager.

we got rooms in the new building. Rooms were quite big, clean & tidy. Large mirrors were fitted in the whole room. Nice place to stay, nothing in cons that i can think of. DInner was awesome, we had ordered Dal fry with Rice and Egg curry. Delicious. I would strongly recommend to stay here.

Just visited with family during Annual flower Show which is the peak holiday season in this town. While many of the hotels are fully booked and those available were costing a bomb, this one seemed decent and worth booking. Location - Short drive to Botanical garden, Rose Garden and Walk-able to Adam's fountain/Restaurants. The hotel is 5 to 6 mins walk from Main road and approach is not great. You can view the hills around and bit of neighborhood which in a quiet area. Hotel - Looks good from outside, old bungalow with garden in front and parking space. The Rooms - We stayed in Classic room for 3 nights. Spacious enough with large mirrors, furnishing and good bathroom with electric geyser for hot water. Not much natural light or ventilation. No ventilation in bathroom. No towels and toiletries were provide and neither we asked them. No housekeeping done for 3 days of our stay!!! On-site Restaurant is not available but they have a kitchen to cook and serve guest on order. Reception and staff - Cold approach to customer, don't expect much. Didn't bothered to greet on check-in or asking if we need anything during our stay. The bad part of our stay has to be the mattress. Spring mattress are never good for sleep and share cozy moments with your partner. Utter disappointing. Brace for bad sleep quality if you are not used to spring mattresses.

Its little bit inside from main road but having good space for cars. I stayed for 2 days with my family the location is very good and calm. The staff is very well behaved. I booked cottage because it give full privacy and having 2 joint rooms and good space inside.They say the cottage is 150 years old and British time bungalow which actually it look like. Walking distant from Botanical Gardens and main market.

A descent place with garden and god room very close to Charing cross. I stayed in 2BR cottage , the rooms were spacious and it is old bunglow converted to cottage. Food can be prepared by in house cook if ordered well in advance.
